OK, this is getting serious. After Malaga CF, the Spanish football club, just announced they are firing all their players, Wigan Athletic, a team that won the FA Cup in England just 7 years ago needs money so it doesn’t disappear.
The fans are trying to raise half a million pounds by the 31st of August 2020. There’s a crowdfunding effort and, at this moment, they already raised £220,000.
I’m putting some money there as well. I’m not a fan of Wigan (which is now in the third league in England), but I would llove to help in any way I can.
