Messi Would Win at FIFA if Barcelona Doesn’t Want to Let Go

Let it gooooo!

If you have kids, you’re probably going crazy when you hear Frozen.

But Barcelona might not have other option but to let Messi go for free, without anybody paying the €700M buyout clause in the player’s contract.

Apparently, if Barca doesn’t let the player go, he will go to FIFA and there the club will lose for sure, because apparently Messi has a clause in the contract that allows him to leave for free if he chooses to do so at the end of a season.

Leo Messi’s desire is to play for a team other than Barça next season, 2020-2021, and he will have no problem getting the transfer from FIFA.

In the last 15 years there is no known jurisprudence to the contrary, neither from the body that governs world football nor from the Lausanne Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAS).

This is what sources close to FIFA itself assure El Pais.

The process of obtaining the transfer would not go beyond what it takes to register the relevant documentation of the parties and be verified by the transfer system (TMS), that is, approximately one week.
